Det parallelle grensesnittkortet 1284-B installeres i skriverens innvendige port. Det støtter et parallelt 1284-B-kompatibelt grensesnitt som bruker en toveis, 36 pins, D-shell hunn-kontakt. Det anbefales å bruke en Lexmark 10' parallellkabel (P/N 1021231) eller en toveis IEEE 1284-kompatibel kabel for å unngå kompatibilitetsproblemer. Se Technical Reference hvis du trenger mer informasjon om det parallelle grensesnittet.
